No-sew baby blanket and pillow

Two layers of fleece are knotted together to make this cute baby blanket and pillow. No sewing required, only a good pair of scissors and a tape measure. Place two layers of fleece on top of each other and cut evenly spaced fingers into fleece all around the edge of blanket. Tie bottom and top layers together. To make the pillow: tie three sides of a square together and fill with batting or pillow stuffing of choice. Tie fourth side to complete pillow.

Decoupage on glass

Mulburry paper has the distinction
of easily feathering edges when torn. Small pieces of torn paper are interlaced and glued to the glass with crafter's varnish. Pull apart the layer of a paper serviette until you have the single layer with your design of choice. Carefully cut it out and use a very soft brush to glue on top of layered mulburry paper. Apply two to three layer ofs varnish - wait until dry inbetween each application.

Decorated hanger

Use wire to make you own hanger and decorate it with beads. The hanger can be used for kitchen towels, keys or your necklaces.

Doorstop

Feel like the most basic of elementary-easy mosaic? Not only is the end product usefull, but can also be a nice gift if dollied up some more. We used left over pavers, tile cement and grout, and small tiles already cut to small squares (the type you would use in a kitchen or bathroom - on mesh backing).

Dino hat, handbag for invite and windmill

What to make for a kiddies party? Every boy at some stage would love a dinosaurus hat like this one. This cute little bag is the perfect envelope for a girlie invite and the windmill still amuses children of all ages.

Uh-oh! box

A sturdy but small plastic container with little essentials for little emergencies. This handy little box is no bigger than a medium sized cell
phone and can be packed with a number of essentials such as a throat lolly, a band-aid, a tampon, alcohol swabs, asprin, hand sanitizer wipes, Rennie (for heartburn), chewing gum (for fresh breath emergency), a plastic lid with hole for straw to keep bees out of your soda, etc.

Pewter Notebook

An inexpensive notebook was transformed with a sheet of scrapbook paper and a pewter decoration.
Start by covering the front of your notebook with your choice of paper. We used scrapbook paper and double sided tape.

The cat and flower design I got from a plastic template. I used a ball tool to trace the lines of the cat onto the pewter. After I applied the patina and poliched it down again, I cut the design out and glued it onto the book.
